G’day Aussies, Kia ora Kiwis

I visit your part of the world twice a year, usually for a few weeks at the beginning of Terms 1 and 2. This includes conference keynotes, open workshops, DP Networks, and in-school work. Dates for the forthcoming trips are shown below. 

The consultancy I offer is as follows: 

• Staff Development Days: choose from my areas of expertise and I’ll design a day that will inspire, challenge and encourage your team. We’ll have a laugh along the way too. 
• Conference Keynotes: from 2009-2020, I have given 15+ keynotes per year at leadership and teaching conferences in Oz & NZ. These days, conferences are few and far between but if you’re organising one, then let me know and I’ll be there! 
• Model Lessons: give me any class, any age and I’ll model questioning techniques, checks for understanding, inquiry-led learning, direct instruction and/or retrieval practice for your team to watch and review. 
• After-school PD: if I’m already in your neck of the woods then I’ll happily offer you an all-staff, after-school or twilight session. 
• Longer-term Support: I’m currently working with schools in every state – and both islands – on a longer-term basis. Agreements can be ad-hoc or a rolling contract to provide onsite PD every time I’m in-country, lead webinars throughout the year, and support teams and leaders with implementation and sustainability. 
• Webinars and Coaching: I’m available throughout the year to deliver staff PD and coaching online. During the pandemic, I did a raft of full-day PD sessions for schools but 60-90 mins for a webinar is probably optimum today. Coaching sessions are always timed to suit the context. 
• PD Video Library: As of Jan 2026, I have 70+ videos that support staff development. Many of these include recordings of my work in Aussie & Kiwi classrooms. The videos guide new staff induction processes; prep existing staff ahead of meetings; enhance in-house PD; and guide coaches and leaders of learning.
